Found a root for the LP8 firmware I'm running, so everything is nice and dandy with Titanium Backup

just found AirDroid ...a really useful tool for wirelessly connecting to your pc via wifi, to up/ down files, edit messages and contacts, as well as share copy/paste clipboard in the comfort of a computer keyboard, and large screen.
All you need is the app, the host computer needs nothing set up so you COULD use it on any pc, provided there's a wireless router.

Got sick of Samsung and TouchWiz and waiting for Jelly Bean, so I've just installed an AOSP 4.1.1 ROM:

I'd only rooted mine so far, had been holding off using custom ROMs, not quite sure why at this point. I'm glad I made the jump. Running great so far, and hopefully I'll feel the same way about it within a few days/weeks. No major issues with this one, as far as I can tell.
