There's a famous irish cartoon, which depicts a horse drinking out of a trough of guiness and pissing into a trough of Murphy's simultaneously. Seriously, murphy's is rank.

Here's a list of what I currently drink while out in the order I like the most.

Patrone Silver (chilled shots)
Grey Goose + something
Stoli Raspberry + OJ
Jagermeister (shots)
Goldschlager (shots)

After I get through those, I lose my pickiness.

I'm not a fan of either but Jack isn't so bad. However, being a twenty-something college student living in BFE I tend to drink anything and everything.

My current drinks of choice are:
Labatte Blue/Killians (similar taste but Blue is slightly better)
101 Turkey
Everclear (It's a rough shot but hot damn does it do the trick)

I switch between Grey Goose and Level.

I'm quite surprised there's been less support here for Guinness. It is a nice drink, but probably a fairly acquired taste, and not to everyone's liking. It's popular because people think they look "hard" when they drink it.

Other things about Guinness:

- The "Extra Cold" Guinness on tap is for people who really don't like the taste of it.

- "Guinness and black" (Guinness with a splash of black current) although considered a girly way of drinking Guinness is occasionally a refreshing change, if you want something sweet tasting.

I don't have much to say about JD. I think it's a nice bourbon, but no substitute for a good traditional whisky like J&Bs, GlenMorangie, Bowmore, Jamesons etc. Bell's whisky is ok as a cheap option, but if you're in that price range famous grouse is a better choice.

For some reason, silver tastes smoother than gold to me.

Why not just mix them? Liquid cocaine is a wicked good thing to get wrecked on.

I can barely stomach it.

All american whisky and bourbon is pretty damn horrible. They make the shit out of rice and corn ffs.

I only drink Scottish and Irish single malt. Although one of those Japanese Suntory whiskies is pretty ok too.

That would be Guinness in the can, closest to tap as you'll get.
Yes, JD is crap, but Guinness is delicious. It's just not meant to be consumed by the weak.

JD tastes like bananas, which is so unspeakably wrong for a whiskey that i can't help but admire the stuff. Good for mixing.
