That's pretty much what I did. Didn't bother with season 2 after I heard they slashed the budget. 3 was a "hurry up and die already" snoozefest but season 4 had a ton of character development and actually had good pace to it. 5 has been pretty good for a series finale, but it's all up to how they decide to end it.Ryoki wrote:Agreed, season 2 should simply not have been made, 3 is not much better. If you ever want to get into it again i suggest you start at season 4, which is decent. 5 is indeed the best one so far

It's not a series finale AFAIK. Recently one of the writers said they had enough ideas for a bunch of seasons more.

Seriously? Why? I've only seen two episodes and the writing - esp. the scene in the desert - seemed a bit forced.Eraser wrote:I think it's just as good as Breaking Bad.
Plus: I really dislike fanservice. "Whoa. Tuco!"
Re: Better Call Saul
I agree with Pext. I can see this going somewhere - Odenkirk is awesome - but they need to lay off the BB fanservice.
Apparently theres only just the one 2bit gangster in ABQ. And he perpetually takes care of old family members who are easily distracted by soap operas.

I dunno. I enjoy the BB fanservice. Besides, so far it's just been Tuco. If I remember correctly, Mike is going to play a major part in this series which puts him way beyond mere fanservice.
