Neat. I saw an Japanese art exhibition in Sheffield with some interactive shadow based displays.

There was one with a bunch of everyday household objects, all casting their shadows, and if you touched them, other shadows came out, like there was a seive and a butterfly flew out. What was neat was how the projected shadows looked identical to the real shadows.

perhaps the mall soccer game can be called "free", but not a display at E3 since it's not open to the general public.
they don't get money for being at E3...they pay to be at E3, the expo lplace gets the money, not nintendo, so technically it's still free, provided you are there
um - in the end they do generate more revenue for attending conventions like E3. and it's still not "free" if you have to pay some absurd amount of money to get in. the place is practically invite only unless you're in the business or are part of the press.

I think it's pretty cool. I'd rather see unique shit like this than another million polygons per second. I actually get irritated when people are like "ew that game doesn't have very good graphics".

On a side note, I finally beat Resident Evil 4 and it's one of the best games I've ever played. The only thing that would make it better is a more adult script as the current translation feels little childish and shallow. Gameplay is 100% spot on however.

for free what
the game on the floor idiot
i can understand if you want to say something about Nintendo innovating or doing things that MS and Sony arent, but the whole free thing based on this year's e3 is a bit retarded. i mean afterall, i can say that things that havent been made for other consoles were allowed to be played for free at e3 by MS and Sony.

Wow, that's some cool shit. :icon14:

But it sounds like Nintendo doing anything with it is just speculation - I mean, didn't they just use this company's services to make their booth look better? :paranoid:
