Nice comeback! You sir are a genius! The cops/military/authority aren't being shot at anywhere else then in New Orleans. There is over 90,000 square miles of area devestated by Katrina, and only in New Orleans is there anarchy. If you can't see that it's an abnormal situation then the rest of the areas hit by the hurricane... well..

Old enough to understand that when someone talks about New Orleans these days, there's a good chance he means all affected areas. But thanks for getting all riled up.

No.. actually when people say New Orleans, they mean New Orleans, not South Florida, Mississippi, Alabama.

Yup, because that's where all the problems are... the rest of the areas are trying to start the cleanup, New Orleans is still under water.. bleeds it leads man.

Yeah way to go man. I'm being negative in this discussion and because I'm not an American citizen, I must just be bashing. Accordingly, your post can make as little sense as you like and you'll still walk away feeling you've rumbled my little 'game'.

'retarded', 'half a day', 'cup of tea'. What the fuck is wrong with you man?

On the offchance you can get over yourself and put a few of your opinions up for review:
1. Britain becoming submerged isn't something which is likely to happen. We're talking about a city below sea level and protected by manmade structures... on a common hurricane strip. This was a predicted event
2. If the Uk was entirely underwater, there would be no or few parts of it capable of delivering releif to the rest of it. However only a fraction of the US is underwater right now.

The levee broke very late Monday, so that would put us at the end of day three for response to the event that has led up to the riots and anarchy in New Orleans.
The break was predicted as soon as the storm intensified to cat 5 offshore. Which I think was about 24-48 hours before the storm hit.

The mayor himself was categorically stating that the levies would not hold above a certain wind speed, and that this hurricane's wind speed would almost certainly be higher.

dont mean to sound harsh, but from what ive seen on the tube, and what ive read on different forums seems the best idea would be to leave the place underwater :icon26:

He's not smart, he's just an obnoxious smartass. It doesn't take a genius to pick on generalizations and try to turn them into mistakes.

I wouldn't go and say "I was never captain of the football team you must be dumb." because that's what obnoxious smartasses do.

Pets were not allowed on the bus, and when a police officer confiscated a little boy's dog, the child cried until he vomited. "Snowball, snowball," he cried.

Do you think they should have allowed pets on the evacuation buses?

Yes. Pet's are just as much a family member as anything/one else.
