hmmm, I swear I've seen that bottom shot a long time ago...b/c the shawdow looks like total shit. (not giving the OMG THAT'S OLD troll again) but I would have thought by now that would be fixed. (If that's the same screen I'm thinking about.)

Why do fagg0ts continually have to establish which engine a new game uses with absolutely no idea whatsoever?
I remember people here adamantly told me that Far Cry was based off of the Doom III engine after some screenies were released. Funny dat.
BTW....this game is probably using a modified Doom 2 engine.

Looks pretty nice. Interesting mix of lightmaps with dynamic light volumes. The luxels seem large and pixelated in that last screenshot (palm tree on the left).

That is an old pic, they don't use shadow buffers anymore AFAIK.
