Re: electric motorcycles
Sweet. Nothing about range (before battery runs out) or price though.

Re: electric motorcycles
very neat. thanks for the link.
Re: electric motorcycles
From what I've seen they've got decent range but cost a lot and take too long to recharge.
Re: electric motorcycles
Awesome to see the instant linear massive torque of 400nm released. Driving electric is an addictive feeling, I can tell you from experience.
Re: electric motorcycles
Not exactly new. Harley has an electric bike even.

Battery Pack
380V 12 kwh battery pack
(Range of 100-120 miles per charge)
380V 15 kwh battery pack
(Range of 120-150 miles per charge)
380V 20 kwh battery pack
(Range of 160-180 miles per charge)
Charging time
30 mins on a DC fast charger
120 minutes on level 2 charger
Seems pretty good to me.
We have solar panels on our office roof which can produce around ~20kw on a good day. I'm sure they'd never notice a sneaky charge
Re: electric motorcycles
Not for me. I travel too much and waiting around 2 hours to keep going is pretty unacceptable.
