Yes you do, you just can't come up with one because the explanation for your tacky pool was so accurate. :olo:

God, it's just vile. It honestly looks like one of those beach bars in Thailand that only foreigners visit. If have no problem telling you it was nice if it was, but it's not. Everything about it is classless. Above ground, too, which automatically makes it terrible, even if the design was spot on. Which it isn't.

Geoff's argument to an articulated post detailing the reasons why it looks cheap and classless: "It's not tacky". :olo:

My carspace is worth more than your entire home, and you live in a garage with blankets for curtains. :olo:

In all seriousness, it must actually suck investing large amounts of cash into a property in a cheap area. Seems like you're trying to make the best of a bad situation, and I respect that.

If I couldn't step outside my door and be bang in the middle of one of the best cities in the world, I'd probably stick a horribly tacky vegas hotel style pool in my garden, too. You really are premium-economy scum

lol, dude, not sure if you're serious, or just trying to rile up Geoff. But not everyone wants to live in a big city. I have the means to live basically anywhere, but choose to live in the country on 120 acres. I like being surrounded by nature, not steel and concrete. Living in the middle of a big city doesn't make you better than everyone else. Everyone prefers something different.

I do agree though, I hate suburbs. If I didn't live in the country, I'd want to live in the city center somewhere...

We don't live in the suburbs... It's a resort community... About a quarter of the homes here are vacation property... It's changed since it's inception though with all this growth... Kinda in between resort and suburbia...

I wouldnt live in a big city for all the money in the world... Shit is for morons....

And by "resort community", you mean a cheap area of affordably priced larger homes, perfect for retirees on a limited budget, or, in your case, people with a stupidly large family on a limited budget.

Hence why you built the pool rather than bought the house that came with it.

Hence why you bought the Kia instead of the German whip.

Hence why you seem to have the cheap version of everything you buy.

You're on a budget

I'm not surrounded by steel and concrete, I live in a little victorian village next to a 60 acre landscaped park. Shit's got peacocks in it and everything.

Living in the country is the preference, but I've tried ot get the best of both worlds. Worst case scenario would be trying to etch out a meaningful existence in suburbia or a "resort community", which just screams "place for people with a low IQ".

Dude, why the hell do you have to own 120 acres? I have 5 acres and barely get to see every corner of my property during a month. Plus it's a lot to maintain.

Have you never owned a prestige vehicle from new, Geoff? Sorry, of course you haven't. You order it, then you go onto a waiting list. The Porsche Cayenne Turbo waiting list is quite long, and it coincides perfectly with when I plan to get rid of my current car.

Don't worry, when it arrives, along with the Jaguar F-Type, which we just decided on as a weekend car, I'll bombard your threads with all manner of pictures

I guess because I can. I don't want close neighbors. Plus, you have to remember, the U.S. is huge. So land in the countryside is cheaper than it would be in other smaller nations (don't get me wrong, 120 acres is still a pretty penny)...

I also don't live on a dumpy piece of land that looks like shit. I'll take a panorama of my back yard and post it...
