Going to Montreal in June
Going to Montreal in June
Visiting a neuromodulation congress in Montreal, Quebec. Will be flying the 5th of June and back on the 12th of June. I'm planning on getting a ticket to the F1 GP that will happen that weekend.
More tips for sightseeing, things to do?

I heard flying into mountains is the hip thing to do these days...
Re: Going to Montreal in June
Yeah the club scene in Montreal is alright, the women up there are gorgeous. That's about it...
Re: Going to Montreal in June
I doubt Saturn is interested in your club scene...

Re: Going to Montreal in June
Saturn,
First of all, Happy Birthday!!
Montreal is a great city. There's a lot to do in terms of galleries and such and it's a great city just to walk around. Lots of excellent brewpubs/bars and restaurants, make sure you tour the old city.
Definitely book a table at Au Pied De Cochon (unless you're a vegetarian). It's a world class restaurant and I try to eat there every time I go to Montreal.
Also the jazz festival starts near the end of June. If you're still there at the time there will be great music.

Great, that's the kind of advice I like. Thanks Puff!
Re: Going to Montreal in June
Take a day to visit Quebec City if you like historical towns and European cobble streets. June and July are a great time to visit Montreal because it's a couple months after the Habs have been crushed in the playoffs and all the rioting has subsided.
