TLDR: "I suck, eveyone told me I sucked, so I cheated".

Apparently a notification was sent out 2 hrs before the match began that there was an upcomming ban n all, guess they let the game go ahead for publicity.

ESEA are con artists n all, their client at one point came with a secret bitcoin miner along with a bunch of other shit.

It wouldn't surprise me to see this as a staged ban, to promote how their anti cheat system is effective in the face of corrupt admins not banning known cheaters.

Said it wouldnt surprise, they do perma ban people for criticising the system because their main marketing ploy is their anti cheat which many are claiming is bogus whilst a shit ton of known cheats were getting away with it.

It all stems from when they caught a top German player using cheats, which were known about beforehand. There's other shit n all, but the hidden bitcoin miner in their client was confirmed after ipkane and torbull tried sweeping it under the carpet.
