Cameron is sadly the least shitty of a shitty bunch of sticks. I wouldn't trust Ed to sit on a toilet the right way and I think if Clegg got in he'd just shit himself. Nige is a bellend and the Greens don't have much of an agenda if you look at their policies. What a lot of people don't realise about Ed Milliband is that he is aggressively opposed to big business. I'm trying to think of the right word, because it's an innate revulsion he has to it, rather than a policy. To the point where it has, and continues to damage his credibility as a politician by not flirting with corporations in the same way other politicians do. Most of what people think of Ed Miliband has been presented and packaged by a media entity that stands to suffer immensely in the event of a labour win with him as leader. He courts none of them. I think holocaust denial should be allowed just as well as selling Mein Kampf. Not being allowed to deny the holocaust happened won't stop people from denying it. Holocaust denial especially is a tricky subject when it comes to the freedom of expression debate. A lot of countries have illegalized it reasoning that denial of the holocaust incites hatred and violence against a specific ethic group of people, and there's certainly more than something to be said for that. European countries especially have very strict laws regarding these things because of obvious historic reasons - it's also illegal to sell Mein Kampf, display a swastika flag in public, etc.
I'm not very familiar with that French comedian that is mentioned, but i did read a couple of things about him in the last couple of years - he's a vicious antisemite and holocaust denier from what i know. Fuck that guy for his opinion on that - but good luck prosecuting him for his Charlie Hebdo remarks... while vile i'd wager it's going to be pretty hard to argue it doesn't fall under freedom of expression.
