I gave in and bought Starpoint Gemini 2 and Endless Legend. I've only played Endless Legend thus far, and it's just as much of a time sink as Civ. The hours just fly by.

I got it too, found it confusing and not so much fun as i'd hoped.

Wasteland 2 on the other hand will keep me occupied for a long time to come i suspect, excellent stuff.

Aye, it's a timesink alright... which is good, haven't had one of those for a while now, was kind of looking for one to be honest :)

The combat is okay, nothing special but i like it. What i do find honestly amazing about Wasteland 2 is how you can do everything in several different ways and sometimes you just have to be cool with not being able to do shit with your preferred outcome. I'm can't even be halfway yet but i'm already looking forward to a second playthrough, so many things i'd do different a second time :D

Also it's really nice to play a game with a good solid plot again, they really went all out with the writing - excellent stuff. The valley of the MAD monks comes to mind, just wow :)
