You want a RHD car? Wouldn't it be odd with everyone else driving on the right? :p. Someone i know has an import Corvette C4 (LHD), looks odd.

right, but your average European driver is a much better and safer driver than your average "yank".
you would doubt about that on an average trip in the city, but then again, old people with vision less than a hamster can still drive around till they crash their vehicles

The actual license costs about 30 or 40 euros

edit:
what's probably true though is that in the US you get a free driver's license with every box of breakfast cerial while in the Netherlands (and most of Europe) the driving exams are very strict.
Nonsense. Most people I know (myslef included) learned to drive from our parents, and we had free lessons in High School that we had to pass in order to get our lisences before 18. Box of cereal :icon19:
yeah its the total cost of getting a drivers licince (if you make it in 1 try, most people need 2 or 3),
we don't have driving lessons in school here n we cant drive before our 18th birthday. we cant drive in our moms car either... altho most do. im devastated :tear:

ps how hard is it to get your licence?. most people need about 30 lessons here. our examns are strict as hell, not many people make it on the first try.
I passed mine on the first try. I can imagine it would be more difficult in a city (I live in pretty rural Ohio), but I had to paralell park and all that... I didn't find it hard in the least
