Does anyone know anything about grapes? I've got a huge vine that covers a good part of my back fence. I'd like to do something with them, but don't even know when to pick em...

So I made some hot sauce with a buddy yesterday...

4 chocolate bhut Jolukia
2 naga jolokia
2 bhut jolokia

(we roasted four of em)

apple cider vinegar
heirloom carrot
peach
plum
fig
parsley
garlic
ginger
black pepper
salt
tequila
water
lime juice

Going to let it sit a coupple of weeks before bottling... first impressions...
Very sweet immediate hit which is almost instantly overtaken by a distinct and growing heat. Pretty tasty with a good overall balance.

chemical burns on hands feeling much better today :olo:

I just made some hot sauce too the other day but i just used serranos, tabascos, some onion and garlic and a bit of salt. Cooked it up then pureed it. Super tasty and not too hot.

My buddy's plant dwarfs my two. His has produced more than 30 big-ass peppers.

Mine needed better soil. They were about 1/3 the size they could have been. Still no complaints.
