I've been using Opera for about five years now, around a year ago they moved from their in-house rendering engine to Blink, a fork of webkit. So far so good, it was a big change at first, but they're getting their shit together now.

The internet sucks without Adblock.

I can sympathise with journos on sites I read getting pissed off that I don't see the ads on their sites, but even when Adblock wasn't a thing, I never, ever clicked through an ad.

I use Edge partly 'cos I don't like the blackmail ethics the Adblock Plus team are using, and partly because the people who are prepared to pay to get around Adblock Plus include Google. I only realised last year that everyone else was getting ads before every Youtube video. I didn't even know Youtube did that until watching something on someone elses machine without Adblock.

Chrome, the smoothness and minimal / intuitive ui makes everyone else look like a fuckinginfant. Sure u get the odd tab that crashes, but all u gotta do is refresh, ffs...bunch of drama queens.

There's nothing worse than using someone's Adblockless computer. It took me two years to realize Youtube had ads.

"Look at all these ads, I should install Adblock for you"
"Why, what does Adblock do?"
"What? It blocks...fuck you."

I had used Adblock Plus for so long that I took it for granted and started to think of the internet as having entered an ad-free era. I was genuinely surprised to discover YouTube had ads, and I fear the day ad companies discover a way to completely get around Adblock. Using anyone else's PC to browse the web does indeed suck balls. I don't know how anyone can click on those garish ads...

I've already seen websites that won't load any content until Adblock is disabled. I just go back instead :smirk:

I've seen that, too, come to think of it. I just close the tab, same as I do for sites that require me to create an account to view content, install a plugin, update Java or someshit. My patience isn't what it used to be. :oldbastard:

I've never used adBlock until recently. Ads never bothered me but more and more often I read about ad networks getting hacked or something, resulting in malicious ads being inserted that can cause harm to people's computer, even when not clicked. And it isn't just shady sites either. Recently it was Yahoo and not long after that one of the biggest Dutch webshops. That's why I use adBlock (and set Flash to click-to-enable and disabled the Java plugin altogether).

Chrome on all computer's, but thinking about going to Firefox for my HTPC. For whatever reason, the Pepper Flash Player that is shipped with Chrome is an awful piece of garbage. It stutters on all PCs I have. I've tried disabling it and using the stock Adobe Flash Player, but it has some weird rendering issues with Chrome.

Chrome has some fullscreen rendering issues on my Windows 8 HTPC thats hooked up to a projector. Not on every site either, just a few. Weirdest damn thing. Its like it is somehow able to alter the display mode to one that isn't supported and the projector just shuts off. I have to alt-tab to bring it back on.

The issue I've seen is very noticeable stuttering. It's like it's dropping frames or something, but I've noticed it on my gaming PC as well which has an i7 and eVGA 760. I can only assume it's a software issue at this point.
