Re: PHOTOS PLEASE
The white plane is a P-51 Mustang.

Re: PHOTOS PLEASE
P-51 Mustang and F4U Corsair, that mustang in particular was a 13 year restoration and pulled parts from 130 other mustangs... worth about $2.5M. I don't know any history on that corsair though other than it's use in service.
there's still a couple pictures to assemble in photoshop and video to edit so i'll get those up sometime

Re: PHOTOS PLEASE
Well, it is pretty unlikely that a Spitfire would have a giant U.S.A.F. insignia painted on the wing.
(The British did loan some Spitfires to the U.S. during WWII that were painted with U.S. insignia, but those were returned to GB after the war)

so it's "unlikely" there'd be Spitfires with the USAF insignia, even though there were in fact Spitfires with the USAF insignia on them (which i knew, hence my original question), but there's no way the USAF might still have 70 year old planes because no one does, apart from the RAF, who have several. i'll see your

(I didn't know they were loans, hence my original question. the fuselage in that shot looked similar to a Spitfire)

Re: PHOTOS PLEASE
Seems like you had the links working on the previous pages? farmX.flickrstatic.com or whatever the fuck? Isn't that what you're after?
Re: PHOTOS PLEASE
yes what i would do is open each picture in it's own window and i would have the option to choose the size and then would link the picture from there, but now it only shows the lightbox style window with the option to download a certain size and won't let me copy the link to just the picture.
Re: PHOTOS PLEASE
Flicker is a PITA. Get Wireshark, monitor your active network card, then load the photo. Stop Wireshark (otherwise it will continue to accumulate data at an insane rate). You wanna search for the packet that is sending the photo to your computer, and the actual link will be in it somewhere as plain text. It will follow the same format as before, farmX.static.... Etc etc. It can take a while to find but if you filter packets by specific rules you can locate it pretty quickly.
Re: PHOTOS PLEASE
Looking like they may have changed things around...
