Russia in the Ukraine. Conspiracy or not?
Re: Russia in the Ukraine. Conspiracy or not?
I'm not talking about Al-assad or his father
, I'm talking about when the parliament was merged into 1 party in the 50s

Talk about tricky, I just started watching Oliver Stone's Untold History of the United States, so I have a newfound respect for the complexities of WWII.

Being elected doesn't mean you can't be/become a dictator. See: Hitler, Caesar, etc.seremtan wrote:love how people are still talking about the 'revolution' in Ukraine like it was overthrowing a dictatorship. Yanukovych was democratically elected, fuck-knuckles; you overthrew the guy you elected, thereby instantly voiding your membership of the democracy club - like those bell-ends in Egypt

Russia - They get the Krim.
USA - They forced the Russians to react - they would have lost their military bases AND would have had a pro euro country with a direct border to russia. This again forced the EU to react - the EU can not be fine with the annexion of the Krim. In the end this drives a wedge between the EU and Russia. This is good for the US.
My guess is that the regime change in the ukraine was pushed by the US (smart) and also by the EU (not so smart.)
Re: Russia in the Ukraine. Conspiracy or not?
Wasn't their military base lease due to expire soon anyway ?

and just because some elected people become dictators doesn't mean all elected people become dictators. see: most elected leaders, etcDeji wrote:Being elected doesn't mean you can't be/become a dictator. But they void the democracy club membership only when the dictator is overthrown ?

Well, the votes are in and it looks like Crimea wanted this. What's the problem?

What sanctions do you think are coming?

Re: Russia in the Ukraine. Conspiracy or not?
Time for the yanks to deploy terrorists to Crimea.
Re: Russia in the Ukraine. Conspiracy or not?
The votes were rigged, for starters. Although Crimea would've voted for it anyway, which is funny.xer0s wrote:Well, the votes are in and it looks like Crimea wanted this. What's the problem?

Re: Russia in the Ukraine. Conspiracy or not?
Whenever a vote doesn't go the way the US neo-cons planned, it's rigged
What a pathetic shithole of a third world nation the yanks have. All Putin has to say is "come at me bros" and they all shit their pants. Good on Russia for claiming what was rightfully theirs

Re: Russia in the Ukraine. Conspiracy or not?
By rigged, I mean there are areas of Crimea that had 123% turnout.
