Looks pretty sweet. Wonder how well it lends itself to game design...
This isn't exactly a feature I would be pimping since 2.0 isn't out of beta yet....Microsoft's .NET 2.0 platform has allowed us to unlock the potential of our powerful and flexible level editing tools as well as our flexible programming framework.
Please tell how the Unreal3 engine, with its full features unbeknownst to us, is better than this one?FlamingTP wrote:http://quake3world.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4666

I think it looks like a cool game. Different to say the least.

If the release time of the product is after the framework's release, I'd say it's an excellent way to get a massive headstart. Also, being beta they will probably be working closer with Microsoft than they would otherwise and will have the ability to bring to light any issues they uncover. Not to mention that Microsoft has probably waited until it was quite stable before opening it to MSDN subscribers so the bulk of the changes before release will likely be only bug fixes.bitWISE wrote:I agree but I wouldn't build a commercial product that had to be used with a beta framework/driver/etc...

The beta sdk and runtime have been public for a while. So you don't really have to be close to Microsoft to use it. I've been building stuff in C# with it and although I don't see anything wrong with it I just felt like finding something negative to argue about.U4EA wrote:If the release time of the product is after the framework's release, I'd say it's an excellent way to get a massive headstart.
