Season 4 will begin on the 13th of October. Looks like it's a lot more about clubbing zombies to death than dealing with a psychopath mayor. I can only consider this to be a good thing
I hope they're just taking their time to show how relaxed and well ordered their lives are now. Show what they've built up just so they can all tear it down again in the next few episodes.
thank god that Irish woman wasn't added to the regular cast. only on screen for 5 minutes and already she was annoying the fuck out of me
lol @ everyone expecting a season opener to be best episode. this is TV: it has time to breathe. if it builds up, then great. if Rick takes off to become a lumberjack in Oregon, then fuck AMC in the face
So is anyone still following this? The mid season finale (ugh) was aired the weekend before last weekend. So far it hasn't been terrible IMO, but the storylines feel a bit forced.
I was loving it until the governor found the prison and restarted that tired feud but the semi-finale redeemed things and at least they are finally out of the fucking prison. The way they mismanaged the prison was a continual source of anger for me. Looking forward the rest.
It's obvious the writers needed some way of getting them out of the prison, because it was too much of a safe haven. The way they did it feels a bit forced though.
As the Governor and Rick were rolling around on the ground trying to kill each other, I was starkly reminded that all the killing that was going on around them was because of those two people. Those two moronic, short-sighted and selfish idiots were getting loads of people killed just so they could get close enough to kill each other. And then I thought,"Hell...that's just like every other war in human history: dozens/hundreds/thousands of people die just because two people (with power) don't like each other."
lol, I see where you're coming from with you hate for humanity, but I honestly think that Rick was trying to resolve the situation, not being arrogant or selfish. Besides, the guv'nor is bat shit crazy, not to be reasoned with.

Oh please.
If given the chance Rick would blow the Governor's brains out from 500 metres and not even look him in the eye to kill him. Rick's assault on the town last season proved how insane he is: he's easily equal to the Governor.
I honestly was hoping both would be killed in that battle so that someone sane could take over, but Rick is alive to ruin another situation later on I guess.
