Police shoots unarmed woman in Washington DC

Some woman who wasn't entirely clear in the head rammed through some barricades in Washington DC. She kept speeding through the streets and ramming stuff and trying to get away from the police. When she finally halted and got out of the car, she was shot by the surrounding police officers to the point where they had "difficulty identifying her because of the extent of her injuries". She appeared to be unarmed. Also, there was a one year old child in the backseat. She was clearly in the wrong, but sounds to me like a case of trigger happy policemen.

While it doesn't say anything about the severity of the injuries, between the lines I can read that it wasn't all that bad. Also, nowhere does it state the woman was specifically targeting people, only that she drove through a barricade and ignored instructions to halt the vehicle.

She drove through a barricade, hit a cop that went on her hood and was thrown off into a ditch.... I dunno if you've ever been hit by a car, but they hurt, even when going very slowly.

She mowed down a cop and got shot. I have no sympathy for her. There was a case here where some idiot Brazilian was on drugs, jumped the counter of a store, stole some stuff then went apeshit out on the street. The cops tased the fucker and he ended up dying. Sucked in to the cunt. Everyone knows the cops can legally fuck you up in a multitude of ways. I'm not saying I have all the facts, but shooting her to the point where they can't identify her based on appearance is very hard to justify.
pretty sure cops are trained to shoot to neutralize (eg in the leg) instead of repeatedly in the face. not sure though.
