I'm sorry...how is piracy hurting the bottom line? It's the same with movies: every year they brag about setting new records in profits yet keep crying louder about how piracy hurts them. What planet do these idiots live on?
It's PC games that aren't viable, remember? They have to use that as an excuse to delay/shitcan PC releases or just make shitty port jobs to make the console versions look decent in comparison. The only other alternative is to make a great game fully using PC's capabilities, but then console sales would plummet once the morons see how shitty their little plastic boxes are.

There was something like 10,000 seeders at any given time for the combined 360 and PS3 versions of GTA V on TPB. Before release.
I get that consoles make them more money, and I understand that motivates them to make those releases a priority, but the "all PC users are pirates" argument is just insulting. I don't know why they can't be straightforward instead of insulting their customers.
Whatever, we have Watch Dogs to look forward to. Right?
Kinda funny...you just mentioned all the pirating going on for the console versions, yet the argument dumb people in publishing always use is "all PC users are pirates". Hilarious.
