once the outside temp is 20-25F above your thermostat it's just going to run all day anyway. since it's been 100+ it doesn't really matter.

72 summer 68 winter.

so 70 is ideal but i'm cheap by 2 degrees is what I get from that.

hmm. seems legit.
also, do you spend the entire day indoors or are you one of those people who honestly believes that it is more efficient to keep your thermostat set statically day and night?
The nest looks like a pretty sweet way to save some coin and manage the coolness factor before getting home.

i can actually even reduce the temp from 68-66 on like 100 degree days!

and then it shuts off!

i have a two story with fair amount of windows with blinds open too!

i was impressed cuz my last house one was shit
