Anyone still interested in skins?

Hey everyone!
I'm a first time poster on this forum, but I'm a long time skinner/modeler. I used to go by the name DemonPrincess on Polycount (still do, actually), if anyone remembers.

I hadn't realized there is still an editing community left for Quake 3, until recently that is. Needless to say, I'm happy to see that at least some people still make new content for this great game!

Now, I understand this forum is mainly aimed at maps. I was wondering though if anyone is still interested in new skins, and if it would be okay to post these here?

The reason that this forum seems to be mostly aimed at maps is that there just aren't that many (if any) modellers/skinners left. Back in "the day" there were some skinners and modellers active here that made some really nice things.

I think it would be great to see some skinning work from people such as yourself. So do go ahead and post your work, I'm sure there's a general interest for it.

I used to go to Polycount all the time to check out skins. I believe I found my favorite skin there "Tomas" . It was part of the 666crusader set .

The old modeling and skinning section was merged with this one since it had dwindling traffic. Always good to see another modeler.

Ah yes, I remember the crusader model!
I always loved those big character projects on Polycount where one person would make a model, and then lots of people made different skins for it.

I could never quite decide on a favorite skin myself, though. I had TONS of custom models and skins installed, so I would play with a different skin every time!

Anyway, I finished the renders of my latest skin, so I'll be posting those straight away.

I don't generally take skin requests (since they take me a long time), but if your level has a strong theme, I may be inspired.
