I'm not good at a lot of games, but I was pretty salty at Q3. RA3 really honed my skills...

RA3 and CA were the shit...I'll look back on those days with fond memories. I miss playing some of the massive RA3 levels but I know if I tried to find them now, all I'd do is spend a few hours getting it working then I'd get destroyed by the few people who still play.

Know that feeling too well. I still (regularly) play Quakelive, even been know to fire up TA (Team Arena) sometimes :)

QL isn't that fun anymore. they keep taking out the good maps (dm6, dm7, t2, aero, ...) and replacing them with crap. presumably to help the three newbies that are on?

Because I was breast fed CA, it kinda builds up a need to RJ wherever you go. I even had problems adjusting to promode if I hadn't played it in a few days and they all needed a different approach (especially in 1v1 / TA / CTF where you can't Leeroy Jenkins everything and need to remember timings n shit).

I wasn't bad, I used to be able to keep up with Donny on a good day, we were both on 56k so it evens out :). Tried playing it again a while after I put it down, then again when Quake Live came out. I was utter garbage, tis nothing like riding a bike.

I know it made me a God on CS though, weren't many people that could catch me on that and Quake 3 was to thank for this.
