Anyone who pays to see this movie deserves to be laughed at. It's quite clear after the second movie there's nothing left for this franchise. What's he gonna do to top saving the world like he and his buddies did in the Avengers movie? Save it again?

Seriously...after the Avengers showing that each character within the group really isn't good enough to carry an entire film on their own, creating further movies based on these franchises is like creating an individual movie about each of the Trailer Park Boys characters...it'll be funny for all of 20 seconds and then you'll notice how empty and worthless it all is and you'll eventually wish it just went away.

And I have no doubt most of you fucking idiots will step on each other's mothers to watch another fag in body armor fly around and crack lame jokes like a fairy.

He didn't save the world in either of the first two films...

It was only in the Avengers film that they saved the world.
Iron Man doesn't need to save the world all the time to be an interesting character.

• The Avengers are about saving the world, that is actually what they were formed for.
• Hulk is about smashing stuff.
• Iron Man is about mechs.
Idk about the rest, they didn't interest me.
(• Guy who shoots arrows, Green Arrow? Is about shooting arrows accurately. ...)

I preferred Iron Man 1 & 2 to The Avengers, as good as The Avengers was.

Yeah...he just saved himself. How exciting will that be in the 3rd movie about a narcissist when he just finished saving the world? I guess you're not understanding that his story isn't all that interesting once he becomes Iron Man and his dealing with personal problems (the second film) isn't the way to maintain this series, so where do you go from there if it isn't saving someone/something else besides himself again?

And no...he isn't that interesting a character anymore, unless you think him marrying Pepper is a good reason to make a third film. Here's hoping Shane Black improves things.

You won't have to wait too long, he'll watch the first copy available because he's already decided he hates it.

Andy Dufresne saved himself, he crawled through a pipe of shit to do it, but he was only saving himself so fuck him. Interesting characters is a matter of opinion like oh I dunno, Mr Douglas in 'The Game' ? :p

You're right though, I didn't like the 2nd as much as the 1st cos of what you said, but I thought the 1st one was pretty fucking awesome and looking forward to this n all. Avengers kicked 7 shades out of almost anything n all.

It'll be worth a watch; the 2nd Iron Man wasn't as good as the 1st but it was still worth a watch.

I'm looking forward to Thor 2 more than Iron Man 3 though. Loved the 1st Thor

Christ it kills me to have some of you non-morons speak of Avengers like it wasn't goddamn horrible, the film equivalent of kicking yourself in the balls (a trait it has in common with all superhero movies) There were literally 2 scenes in it that weren't awful as i recall.

Actually i didn't mind Iron Man 1 all that much but that's not important right now. What i'm trying to say is you all suck.

lol I know you are and it would have been epic....but it'll never happen because I'll never watch Ironman 3 or any other future superhero movie. I said I was done with them after Dark Knight and I've been consistent. I haven't even thought of looking for superhero movie torrents or trailers, let alone actually look for them.

From now on all I'm going to do with the genre is make fun of the people who pay to watch superhero movies and - to the chagrin of movie hacks everywhere - I'll also continue to make fun of remakes.

lol...yeah...so I just found out that Ironman 3 is nothing more than a setup for the Guardians Of The Galaxy movie coming out next year. :olo:

I hate nearly every single one of them with a passion. Still wind up seeing them usually, i clench my jaw and endure the shitfest - the reward is convincing my friends they've got terrible taste and should feel bad about themselves. Usually i take the superheroes are proto fascists approach, hilarious conversations garuanteed. In the Nolan batman universe, this actually holds true (it's stunningly obvious if you pay attention to it). I've never seen anything so popular more openly glorify fascism, except maybe for 300. Same guy though i think, yeah?

Kind of a shame you stopped watching them GKY. Would have enjoyed reading your hatred in the movie thread

I can still put the hate on it...no problem. In fact I plan on pissing off several people here while doing it...especially just after it's released and the fanboys are out in force.

Oh and did I mention that Ironman 3 is simply a cynical commercial for yet another superhero movie coming out next year...in the exact same way Ironman 1 and 2 were cynical commercials for the Avengers movie? I didn't mention it? Ok...well...it turns out that the entire Ironman series is simply a launch point for Marvel's future superhero films: the heroes from the other movie will somehow interact with Ironman while he's oot and aboot fairy flying and he'll make a smart-assed comment about how "they'll never get their own movie" or some lame shit to make stupid audience members laugh...and they'll make tonnes of money off of rubes when their movie finally gets released. Because most people are stupid.

Oh hey guys...in case you didn't know it, the Ironman series is for retards.

Sorry, but fuck off. Jesus, why can't you just enjoy a perfectly good line of pop corn films? They won't win an Oscar or anything like that, but they are entertaining.

"ERMAHGERD VEHICLE FOR TEH NEXT FILM!!!111"

It's called setting stuff up and it's used in quite a few films and TV program's, not sure if you've ever noticed?

Next you'll hate an episode of GoT or a Dexter because it ends on a cliff hanger, or is just a set up for the next episode.

Plus they know that putting things like the infinity gauntlet on show gives me a hard on and Avengers ended on a cliff hanger in the same way that all the others did, by showing Thanos

Victim #1.

And your comment about Dexter and their cliffhangers "setting up for the next episode"...lol is this what movies are to you? Episodes? It makes perfect sense to have cliffhangers in every episode of Dexter...because it's episodical. Its' called a "series".

Sorry, but fuck off. Jesus. You're the perfect sucker for Hollywood, you stupid fuck. :olo:

You are hilarious sometimes

"LURL YEW LIEK SOMETHING MAINSTREAM YUR SUCH A SUKKA HUR HUR"

I say again, mongo. Nothing wrong with the Ironman films. Also ever heard of trilogies? Films that follow on from one to the next? Lord of the Ring? Batman? Matrix? Star Wars? Or am I just a Hollywood whore for liking some of those?

Mongo.
