There are plenty of kicks. There are kickoffs at the beginning of every half. There are punts before almost every change of possession. There are extra point kicks after almost every score. There are frequent field goal kicks. There are also specialty on-side kicks and drop kicks that can be used. There is almost too much kicking. However, its far less than that game for pansies soccer.

Yes, American Football players are very tough, you see even the absolute very best of them, the highest paid most talented athletes in the NFL play half a game 16 times a season. Then, if they play for one of the top teams they get an extra week off, maybe play 2 more which if they win they get another bonus week off before the last game.
