Went out with the wife and friends to watch the fights at one of the local sports bars. The fights were mostly disappointing. The Dos Santos fight, though it did have a few moments, seemed to drag. And Dos Santos was out of gas before the 1st round was over.

Dana needs to have a talk with these guys. These last two UFC events were really blah. Lots of guys out of gas way too early, just flailing at one another for the majority of the fight. I realize that it takes intense training to fight 3 to 5, 5 minute rounds (I'm not saying I could even come close to doing it). But these guys are supposedly Pros and this is a form of entertainment. If guys aren't going to be expected to train for the entire fight, this industry is going to fade fast... Maybe the new guys coming up simply don't have the intensity and training of the old guard. Who knows? Hopefully 156 isn't another let down.

JDS wasn't "out of gas" in round 1, he was severely hurt. There is a huge difference.

Somehow I knew you'd instantly disagree with me. Why not read some other professional opinions of the fight. JDS was gassed a little over mid way through the first round. It was like he didn't expect the fight to go more than that... Ego training got his ass kicked. He thought he could/desperately tried to, mimic the outcome of their first fight. When that didn't happen it was over.

Maybe you can show them the proper way to train so they can all achieve your legendary physique and fitness.

lol so you read an article that said that JDS looked tired in the first and you think that if you repeat that then you're suddenly an expert. Sorry dumbo but you're wrong. This was a 5 round title defense against JDS' most dangerous opponent and you think he trained his cardio to only last him for half a round? That's just retarded beyond words. He's fought into the 3rd round with Cro Cop and went the 3 round distance with both Shane Carwin and Big Country without even coming close to looking like he was gonna' gas, but for a 5 round title defense against a beast like Cain he trained his cardio for a half round fight? lol you're a fucking idiot.

Isn't it amazing how his cardio was completely fine until the moment that Cain landed that massive overhand right that knocked him down and almost took his head off his shoulders. That's called "getting hurt" dumbo, unless you actually believe that suddenly from that moment onward JDS was completely gassed and it was just some incredible coincidence. Did you also notice how JDS seemed to get a second wind in the 4th and 5th round? That's because enough time had elapsed that he was able to somewhat recover from the beating he took in the 1st, unless you're clueless enough to believe that someone who completely gasses in the 1st round is able to recover cardio by continuing to fight 4 more rounds.

You're obviously just another casual "just bleed" fan who thinks they can criticise when in fact they're completely ignorant and don't know what they're talking about.

I posted a link to a pro that shared my opinion, dipshit. No PROFESSIONAL fighter takes one hit in the first round and is out for the rest of the fight. Jr. obviously trained for a 1st round KO. That didn't happen and he was out of gas for the rest of the fight.

Dana better get a hold of his precious UFC or his brand will be in trouble.

lol I like the way you think that referencing some other dipshit opinion somehow validates yours but have no argument of your own to actually back up your retarded belief. It happens in MMA all the time where a fighter takes a massive blow in a fight and never properly recovers. You arguing otherwise is just another example of how ignorant you are and shows that you have hardly watched any MMA. Go watch Jon Jones' title victory vs Shogun Rua. Jones lands a flying knee to Shogun's chin 5 seconds into the first round and Shogun is completely out of it for the rest of the fight until the referee stops it in the 3rd in one of the most one sided beatdowns ever in the UFC.

I've already destroyed your stupid statement about training for a half round fight and gassing with my previous post. You repeating the same line with absolutely no argument behind it gives it no validity whatsoever. You're an ignorant casual fan who very obviously knows nothing.

Both fighters were unprepared to go the distance. Jr. could barely put together a combo after the first round and Cain couldn't finish. Most of the fights on this card were depressingly boring. This sport needs to get back to it's roots. Technique and endurance. That is what keeps people interested.

Both fighters were prepared to go the distance. JDS got hurt in the 1st round. Cain can finish but JDS had an amazing chin. Most of the fights were not depressingly boring. If MMA went back to it's roots it would be banned from TV. You don't understand the technique/endurance aspect because you're ignorant.

UFC 154 and 155 were shit in the entertainment department. The fighters weren't trained and the bouts weren't intriguing. You can keep trying to convince yourself otherwise.

If you think the competitors of UFC 154 and 155 were untrained fighters then you should probably just kill yourself.

They only look like shit to someone ignorant to the sport, that is someone like you who can not appreciate what they are seeing. You should probably stick to watching people shoot clumps of dirt and pieces of paper, you obviously find that for more entertaining. By the way, there were three other UFC cards between 154 and 155, but you're probably too ignorant to have known that.
