Been watching it a few times and I know it's all illusions but how is some of it done.
Like how does David Blaine put his arm through glass? And guessing what number people are thinking of or what they drew. Unless it's all scripted..
This is apprently how the levitation thing is done.
The one show I saw a few years ago showed how he did several of his tricks. In the levitation one he does the levitation by pushing up with one foot and keeping his other foot level. The people are placed to his side so that they don't see his pushing foot. Their reaction is recorded and saved for later. Then they attach him to a harness or something and raise him a good foot or two off the ground and splice that footage in with the audience reaction. So to the tv viewer it looks like the audience is reacting to his levitation of several feet when in fact it's just a levitation of a couple inches.
Most of the prediction business is subliminal hints given to the audience member or whoever, and they read the facial nuances or at least pretend to, since they plan out the delivery on the magicians side so that they can get the results they want.
Look up shows and things by Derren Brown, you will be impressed.
