Re: Need for Speed: Most Wanted
Is it just me or this game is really demanding? I'm only getting 33 fps and I have AO on medium
Re: Need for Speed: Most Wanted
I maxed everything and do just fine. My only gripe is the few times there IS a loading screen, it takes longer than I'd like even with an SSD.

Poor people don't own $19,000 toys, they wear hand-me-down leather jackets.
Thick, solid and tight in all the right places.

Intel Extreme DX79TO LGA 2011 mobo
16 GB DDR3 SDRAM
240 GB Intel Cherryville SSD
x2 GeForce GTX 560 Ti SLI'd together
Coolmax 900w 80+ Bronze power supply
I run the game at 1920x1080 with everything maxed and no hiccups. Not sure what my FPS is, but I'd notice if it went below 30, which it never does. FWIW my Windows Experience Index is 7.7. My PC sounds like a Concord taking off, but that's beside the point.
Despite all that, I still get that fucking annoying popup from Windows asking me if I want to turn Aero off to improve performance. I wish I remembered how to turn that off.

Re: Need for Speed: Most Wanted
I know how to turn off Aero, I meant I forgot how to turn off the notification. I know there's a way, but the first few Google results didn't work and I gave up.

Thanks. I'm running a higher resolution (5.6x more), maybe my PC isn't powerful enoughTransient wrote: Intel i7 3820 CPU @ 3.6 GHz

BTW, you can check "Disable Desktop Composition" in the game executable to disable Aero automatically.
Re: Need for Speed: Most Wanted
WTF resolution are you running at?
Thanks, I'll try that tip out with the .exe file.

I'm running 8064x1440. To be honest, in the end it wasn't worth it.Transient wrote:WTF resolution are you running at?
