Etsy

Post by Don Carlos »

Does anyone here use Etsy for buying gifts and the like? It is a wonderful site full of "home made" craft items, which all sounds a little herbal and hippyish, but there are some incredible things on there that would be perfect for Christmas and Birthday gifts etc.

http://www.etsy.com

This is bound to appeal to someone on here for a gift for a loved one:

I don't think it's strictly American? My buddy's wife actually has some of her hand made wooden jewelry on there, a cool site for sure. Check out Shapeways if you haven't yet, some gems in there as well.

Forging damascus is a lengthy process. I can understand if it doesn't appeal to some people, but I love it. To each his own...

Well...considering Damascus has nearly 2 million people I'd guess it'd take time...
