you could receive $3500? Why could? They're going to let you snort coke for 2 days and then say "oh sorry, out of luck there mate. No $3500 for you"?

Obviously it depends on the dosage and the amount of blood they draw.

I'm very wary of trails like this by the way, ever since someone i knew killed themselves as a result of one. Long (and fucking strange) story, the gist of it is that they were testing anti depressants and he had a history of depressions that he neglected to mention during the intake, even when asked directly, because he needed the money to chase his dream of going on vacation to Australia for a year. Apparently the doctor running the trail was under no legal obligation to verify his medical history, so he was accepted.

Trail was for a week and from what people who saw him during that time say he was apparently feeling fantastic, never been better - but a day after the trail was over he inexplicably jumped to his death from a 5 story building. No suicide note, nothing, we were all fucking gobsmacked to be honest. One of the worst funerals i've ever been to, it was tragic. Nobody understood why the hell he did it at the time, we had to piece together that the trail must have been a major reason for it.

It's your gear anyway, no doubt

If it was coke I'd prolly jump at the chance, or more to the point, I'd wanna know what it is (I do the same with prescription drugs anyway). Aanything experimental though and I'd be walking the other way for reasons like Ryoki's story (sorry to hear that dude)

Man, even coke isn't worth it. I've been around a lot of users and it certainly was not an encouraging prospect. I'll stick to the herb.

Think it's the best thing you can send up your nostrils tbh, next to a roaming finger, and at these prices how could you say no ? :D, any kind of long term abuse is bad for you, some less than others like but it's besides the point, just the appeal of taking experimental drugs is the money they throw at you, which shouldn't be legal as they're essentially paying you to be a guiniea pig and putting your health / life at risk.

How's 'it saying a lot' n all ?, if you don't even dabble in dust ?, you smoke rocks bro ?

It's complicated, you see my opinion on this particular drug is based on what I've seen, with my own eyes.

Unless you've sold it, I doubt you could appreciate what I'm talking about and I'm fairly sure you'd disagree with me.

What I usually say is that, as a user your experience with it is from your point of view and those of your friends that also do it. As a dealer, your point of view is from those that use it, both those that are recreational users who seem to be living normal lives and those that abuse it. I've also seen a lot of recreational users become abusers. I'm not saying it will happen to everyone but I know it happens.

What truly makes me sad though is the women. Pretty girls have it the worst, all they see is free coke, money, power through dealers. All the lindsay lohans of the world weren't always that way. She's a good example because i've seen a lot of that.

I rarely talk about it though. It's a hot subject and it truly does make me sad to know how many lives are ruined by it. I don't feel responsible though as I had the presence of mind to say no and I feel like other people do too. In the end it's their choice.

I guess my opinion comes from looking at things through my arse then, with my own eye, as I've never sold shit to anyone or haven't a thousand and 1 friends who have, as well as not knowing a single long term abuser or recreational user, I just sit in my room ya see, woof down a stripe and bounce round to Blondie on my lonesome. Like I said anything in quantity can and will be bad for you, it's all about self control and if you can't control a cocaine habit, then it'll be just as easy for another, different habit to take hold, most probably alcohol, this inludes 'pretty girls' as ugly ones aren't allowed drugs. (now this is from experience, cocaine habits are fucking expensive and respect to anyone that can maintain a healthy addiction, round here they call it the rich mans drug).

Even if half of what you said was true, you still did it, so what does that make you ?, and if you didn't, then why all the butthurt ?, you can't start playing the ethical dealer when you don't even agree with it yourself, infact half of what you're rambling sounds like the 'horror' stories you hear about in the media that just aren't true or common enough to be considered the drugs fault.

Cocaine ruined many friendships my brother had when his "inner circle" started doing coke like crazy. One of his friends even lost his house due to coke. They'd spend the entire evening in the bathroom during parties. My brother eventually had enough, told them all off and simply said,"When you're done with this crap, call me so we can be friends again."

Some of them did kick it, others still haven't.

BTW...I doubt any drug trial would be as bad as the military:

Well that's why I stopped dude. At the time, when I got into it, I had a different attitude towards life. I really didn't care is the short reason and didn't know what I came to learn from being a part of it.

This is why I say it's difficult to understand unless you've had my vantage point. Especially if you use it and you justify your use of it. btw, LSD in my humble opinion would be a far better choice, I HAVE tried that.

What it boils down for me though in regards to illicit drugs is simply what the long term effects are on people and society.

I hold no judgement on those that use it, some remain friends to this day but personally it's not for me.

I don't btw, not anymore, can't justify the spend / reward, I've been part of the scene myself along with a bunch of mates which is the point I was trying to make, it ain't nothing special and the worst thing I seen was a heavily pregnant krack whore trying to swap her TV and Vacum Cleaner for a bag, 2 of my close mates become addicted to krack before they left high school and still are 15 years later, do I blame the drug ?, fuck no, do I agree with selling / taking krack ?, fuck no, some people just need the comfort of an addiction, wether it's acid, weed, krack, coke, base, alcohol or whatever the kids are stuffing in themselves these days.

It's why the most common addictions are the cheaper drugs, if it was the drugs fault people would be clamoring over designer drugs just as much as the cheaper alternatives, but they don't give a fuck if the relief they get costs a fiver or 50 quid (not saying addictions cross over mind, that's a different story, this is more about replacing an addiction).
