Selling a car on Craigslist
Selling a car on Craigslist
Don't bother. I'm selling my daughter's car at the Edmunds value and get nothing but Nigerian scammers that want my Paypal info and don't need to see the car! "I want it NOW at your price!" I'm learning that if your vehicle has a value over $5,000 craigslist is a waste of time.
Just saying.
Just saying.

Craigslist in the UK is beyond shit. We got gumtree ?, but expect rubber neckers, or throw it on the bay and add what ever fee's on top of your asking price. Make sure you say viewings are welcome and that it's listed elsewhere so that you can end the auction, then hopefully the guy will turn up trying to hamfist money into your top pocket
and ofc there's always Newport car auctions

also for your new car, can I interest you in this little gem I stumbled across ?, sounds like he means business though -

No reserve!
You bid, you buy! Don’t buy it just to come and complain that there’s something that looks like a bloodstain in the boot ...
or that one of the tyres has been put on inside-out... or that my bull mastiff is savaging your leg while my heavily pregnant
wife gives you the come-on (she never). I’m sick of timewasters! You either want a threesome or you don't!

Re: Selling a car on Craigslist
I've used Craig's list multiple times to buy and sell boats, cars and house hold items. You just have to spend a few minutes wading through the BS. But I find it quite easy to determine who is and isn't a legitimate person wanting to do business.

I understand, you're too much of a simpleton.
Re: Selling a car on Craigslist
Unisaw, it's funny you should post this, cause I sold a vehicle on Craigslist a couple months ago and got messages from the same scammers. On a couple, I ask for a phone number to confirm they were a real person. When they gave me the number, I then posted it on about 100 different craigslist cities saying "Free DVD collection". Paybacks a bitch...
