Didn't take test and instead stared at the living room wall of my Kensington apartment which holds two original, signed Banksy prints. I then checked the time on my Rolex watch to see if it was time to head to my studio in Chelsea.
I scored "makes Geoff look like a peasant", and appreciated that that isn't a number, but a fact.

Re: Lol disprivileged ppl...
Yeah, he made prints, and you can buy them. How insane is that?? An artist's work available to buy! MENTAL, EaRS.EtUL wrote:Banksy sells prints? lol

That is mental. Artists making money? what the fuck is going on.

Re: Lol disprivileged ppl...
Seriously? That's fucking awesome. Which one have you got and is the letter to you or someone else?
Re: Lol disprivileged ppl...
This is going years back, well 2008. It's a re-print, to be honest I leave it at work because the wife HATES it.
I've helped him and his son a few times. We're market leaders in wide format 64" water based print and his son wanted to use us. They both came in and we spent ALL FUCKING DAY re-adjusting the below before printing. The original was shipped to an event in Vienna where the lady who owns the Nivea brand bought it for €270'000.

I've still got the file. After it was printed he embellished it.
He was back in 2011 a few months before he died looking with the below. It's a very strange moment when the father of pop art has a candid chat about terminal cancer to you. He did exsplain to me about this work, totally lost me. Only man to be kicked out of the RA.

In other news I watched the Chelsea game with Andy Cole on Saturday.

The lol wasn't at Banksy. The lol was for the kind of people who would buy a Banksy print. More power to the dude for getting money off people.0psys wrote:Yeah, he made prints, and you can buy them. Is lashing out at people with insults every post a symptom of short man syndrome? I just need to know if I should pity you.
Re: Lol disprivileged ppl...
The best part is that I paid £150 for them in 2004 and now they're worth £10,000 each. So the kind of person who would buy a Banksy print is the kind of person who can spot an investment.EtUL wrote:

If you had my foresight you'd be able to afford that otoplasty

Doombrain that's a great backstory, shame you can't have it at home, it's awesome.
