I guess it is nice to see that it's well protected. Still annoying though.Psyche911 wrote:lol
I've never had a problem with my Wells Fargo credit card. Is that a good thing though?
Should I place this order?

a corsair value pack is like over $120 cheaper
I believe all the "value" ram has timings of 2.5-3-3-7 or higher (3-4-4-8 for some, ugh). The Athlon 64 platform is extremely sensitive to latencies. If you can do it, 2-2-2-5 timings are certainly worth the price premium.
Agreed, Value ram = shitPsyche911 wrote:Or don't.stocktroll wrote:cut down on the ram if you aint gonna be doing hardcore OC'ing

[size=75][i]I once had a glass of milk.
It curdled, and then I couldn't drink it. So I mixed it with some water, and it was alright again.
I am now sick.

My opinion exactly. I used to work at a PC shop and our choice mobo's were MSI's. Not sure what you did to get yours to run like crap.riddla wrote:yes, because your very limited experience is indicative of the entire name brand.
MSI are great. I dont say this because I built *one* and had minor issues with it either. I've built hundreds of PCs and MSI is easily top 3 for quality and stability.
WoW has already rotted your brain.

I will never buy any less than Corsair XMS again. I'm currently using 512mb of PC2700 and my PC is always responsive and has only crashed once in almost a year (and that was do to a POS program).stocktroll wrote:cut down on the ram if you aint gonna be doing hardcore OC'ing

uh no,

ive fooled around $300 top of the line ram sticks before and i see no justification for the price premium unless you really want to burn money for very little to no noticeable performance increase

Wow I can save $27 by getting memory that hasn't been fully tested. I actually do overclock my RAM since it only requires BIOS tweaks. The only reason I don't overclock my CPU is because I don't want to unlock it.stocktroll wrote:uh no,

After reading a review I understand what you are saying...I'm just being "brand loyal."
This may be a stupid question, but you know the XP-90 doesn't come with a fan, right?
I have a San Ace 92mm, it's a little loud though. People get very impressive results with the Vantec Stealth 92mm fans (very quiet, and you will really only sacrifice a few degrees over a tornado which is totally unbearable).

Christ SOAP. Not only did you misread it the first time. After I posted that, you posted that follow-up post to me while still not having read his original post right.
Read this again:

That page says "Thermalright Fan (INCLUDED)"...Will that be ok to get things running? (No Frys but I can just order one)Psyche911 wrote:Do you have a Frys nearby by any chance? They cary the Stealth line of fans (and lots others, but Stealth are good performance for the noise).
