That's messed up, should've been Gramps instead.
Re: Bullying leads to suicide
do you really want gramps to flash his boobs?

Re: Bullying leads to suicide
I only know as much as what's in that video, but what's tragic is the fact that her parents just allowed her to move schools and cities like she was Lassie.
Also, if you fuck someone's boyfriend, expect the girl to drop you a beating.
This is just shit parenting.

Re: Bullying leads to suicide
Its crazy to think how impressionable teenagers are. But suicide? Common. Also more info here
Re: Bullying leads to suicide
If people get trolled on the internet to the point of tears, they just need to learn to log off. Face it, Gramps is setting the proper example here.

Re: Bullying leads to suicide
I don't think that's quite so easy for a 15 year old girl. Remember, the internet is just a part of the lives of kids in her generation, like TV is to us, and radio was a few generations back. Also, I doubt a teenage girl in school has the same willpower as a 30 year old guy.obsidian wrote:If people get trolled on the internet to the point of tears, they just need to learn to log off. The parents didn't do enough. Clearly if your kid is willing to kill herself, you need to take a more active role in her life and open your fucking eyes. Her parents most definitely did not, because she doesn't mention them in a positive manner even once in those flash cards.
I hope law enforcement up north seizes every computer linked to hateful Facebook/twitter posts and charges every one of them who has a picture of Amanda topless with child porn. Fuck them.

Re: Bullying leads to suicide
That is so fucked up and tragic. Granted she made a mistake, but it shouldn’t have ended like this. No child deserved this. Kids do dumb things all the time and often don’t make good judgments, especially when enticed. It just goes to show once again how dangerous the Internet/social media can be.
I want to stop short of blaming the parents too; maybe they’ve done all they could to help/guide her and give her love, we’ll probably never know, but screw all those people who did her harm. What comes around goes around. In time justice shall be served. I hope they catch the pedo(s) who stalked/threatened her and also charge the guy who took advantage of her with rape.
May her soul rest in peace in a much better and happier place.

Nicely put sir
Re: Bullying leads to suicide
A very sad event. It's been pasted across the media here, it happened very close to home for me. I actually grew up with a few kids who attended the same school as her. It's a sort of "alternative learning" school, implying she was perhaps in some sort of trouble ahead of this. Anyone I knew who went there basically went there because they spent more time skipping class and/or selling drugs than they did doing homework, but I'm sure there are more cases for attending there than that. Either way, this just goes to show the level of inattention that is affecting us in today's day and age. That neither her parents nor anyone else around her was observant enough to notice her struggle is, frankly, a pathetic testament. I read that she had previously gone home and drank bleach in an effort to kill herself after being bullied at school. What kind of parent endures this and still lets their child fall through the cracks?
