Have you tried fixing the problem? If you fixed the problem it should work.












Vague descriptions will net vague replies.

P.S. VM might refer to Quake Virtual Machine, though I don't see how that could be affected by a regular map.

ok

1. what os are you running it on
2. what version of quake 3?
3. give us a copy paste of the exact error message

with these steps we might be able to get a better idea. its still to vague sorry...

Again random guessing with no info given....
Missing or broken pk0.pk3, wrong/broken point release? Is this vanilla Quake 3 or ioquake? Or something else?
