mars landing
Re: mars landing
can't think of anything to say after that picture except stunning
Re: mars landing
That picture is surreal. Since I know it's not on Earth, part of me expects to see alien-looking rocks on the ground. Whatever those would look like.+JuggerNaut+ wrote:[lvlshot]

Re: mars landing
if it was too alien we wouldn't even be able to be there. pretty much all other planets in this system are a nightmare scenario as far as studying them up close and personal goes.
Re: mars landing
The location they dropped this rover seems pretty boring...

fuck you lego, I spit on your shameless evolution into what's now basically too specialized to be called modular and yet too callus to be described as a proper model.
Face it lego, you're a fucking nerd cult. You stopped being what you were decades ago. Fucking posers...fuck you.
Re: mars landing
Agreed. I still have a lot of the classic Lego City packs from when I was a kid and they had so much more character and creativity than the saturated shit you see these days.
Also, classic Lego Technic separated the pussies from the BAMF.

Re: mars landing
Agreed. Although I think that little Lego Curiosity thing is built out of classic LEGO and LEGO technic parts. I consider the technic sets to be from the era when LEGO was still a decent thing. Technic was different from the square blocks, but it was still good stuff that allowed endless creativity.Tsakali wrote:hey guys, remember when lego looked like this?Eraser wrote:build your own Curiosity rover from LEGO

Re: mars landing
That's the problem. These new LEGO sets don't allow for homemade designs, or at most in a very limited fashion. They use too many single-purpose prefab parts that are just unusable as anything other than what they were originally intended for.plained wrote:after doing these kits it takes their homemade designs to a whole new higher level
