Microsoft is currently testing a modified version of Internet Explorer 9 on its Xbox 360 console, according to our sources. The Xbox 360 currently includes Bing voice search, but it's limited to media results. Microsoft's new Internet Explorer browser for Xbox will expand on this functionality to open up a full browser for the console. We are told that the browser will let Xbox users surf all parts of the web straight from their living rooms.
Ok, listen up Microsoft, what you need to do is this:
1. It's fine to include Kinect support but don't make the browser depend on it.
2. This one is important: let us open up the browser on top of the app or game we're currently running. If that's possible and they let me bookmark gamefaqs.com and xbox360achievements.org then that'd be totally and completely awesome.

To be honest, I expect them to not allow the browser to be opened up from anywhere. Certainly not while running a game. So with that assumption, I'm not all that eager for a browser on XBox 360 because controlling it will be a pain in the ass. Kinect will probably be slightly easier, but still not ideal. Easier to just pick up my phone or laptop and use that instead.
Now if they do allow the browser to be opened up anywhere (as part of the guide button menu maybe) then that'd be really nice to quickly find some info on how to progress in a game or get an achievement without the need of grabbing another device for it.
Huh, so. Computers becoming more like simple app-running cell phone turd machines and consoles becoming more like dysfunctional half-realised pc's. Equally useless. Cell phones are winning.
Hopefully it has Flash. The only reason I've been wanting a browser is to be able to watch south park, anime, and other shits without having to plug in my laptop.
how many more times will we have to hear this? it's like the busted clock of tech predictions, except that the little hand is pointed at tedious-moron-o'clock and is therefore never right

The whole reason they never gave the 360 mouse/KB support was becasue they wanted to distance themselves from the PC. Now that they may implement IE, I guess that excuse won't work anymore.
Give me a fucking mouse and keyboard for FPS games, already!
