DVDs and Blu-Rays are going to include two more mandatory anti-piracy nag screens which last for 10 seconds each. So have fun being warned about piracy when you've legally bought a product in a store somewhere while those who actually pirated it don't have to see it.

Wonderful idea - actually I'd very much like to watch a short film before my main film, all about the effects of piracy within the world and ultimately how the download of illegal films resulted in the rise of Hitler and the death of Jesus.
Re: More nag screens on your legal DVDs
i can't wait for VLC player to strip out these important messages for me while Slysoft AnyDVD HD removes all the copy protection, thereby allowing me to watch legally purchased Blu-ray/DVD discs on my PC

So no-one in America is allowed to publish a DVD without 20 seconds of the beginning of it being taken up by the FBI? Land of the free.

Man, these anti-piracy fucks are living in the stone age. Have they ever made a connection to the internet to read about these issues from real-world people in real-world situations?
Re: More nag screens on your legal DVDs
If you're watching a really good movie and are totally engaged in the plot, you might have forgotten about the anti-piracy message. Therefore, they should stick these messages at fixed intervals during the movie as a friendly reminder not to pirate the movie that you enjoy watching. Because, you know... that's helpful, right?
