Mass Effect the Third
Re: Mass Effect the Third
You have to get close to Joker/EDI to speak to them and it's literally in this spot where it happens. I now just quick save before I do so, but a few cutscenes have actually dropped me in the glitch spot after it finishes. Like I say, some pro QA right there.
Re: Mass Effect the Third
Try setting your FOV back to default and stand there again. No problems here.brisk wrote:Anyone else noticed the spot to the right of Joker in the Normandy than glitches the player if he stands in it? I've had to reload save data a few times now because I get stuck. Pro.
Re: Mass Effect the Third
lol corporate propaganda. I'm using fov 90 and no problems here.
Re: Mass Effect the Third
planet scanning, did it change? is there only one location to search for on each planet now or am I an moron?
Re: Mass Effect the Third
Here is a video I just took of it happening.
Re: Mass Effect the Third
lol, you made a video of that? Why?
Re: Mass Effect the Third
To pass on to Bioware so they can fix it. Did I really need to explain that?
Re: Mass Effect the Third
It's the gay uniform.
I'm dressed like a man, and no problems here.

I wore my dress uniform the first time I walked around the ship. I showed them virtual fuckers who's boss.

Re: Mass Effect the Third
Did brisk tweak his FOV? I can understand if he had tweaked it to 90 or so causing a problem as he'd have to move closer than he thinks to "use" the characters and speak with them, but it doesn't explain why he's stuck after the cutscene if the game spawned him in the stuck position.U4EA wrote:Try setting your FOV back to default and stand there again. P.S. Oh...and brisk...if you did change your FOV and it's causing this problem then reporting it to Bioware will do nothing but make them laugh at you.
Re: Mass Effect the Third
FOV is tweaked in that video, but I also used the original .bin file to test it and the same thing occurs. So yeah, it's an issue with the game outside of anything I changed. I updated to the latest version on origin too.

Re: Mass Effect the Third
It's weird your system would do that with the same data as everyone else. It's prolly something hardware related in the way it does physics updates...maybe your system is fucking up the frame the physics check is scheduled to occur on? This would cause it to wait longer for a collision check, so that could be an opportunity to get into a stuck position when the update finally occurs. Dunno...I'm not a programmer.
Re: Mass Effect the Third
LOL @ the Tali reveal. I won't spoil it, but this link reveals more.
Re: Mass Effect the Third
pretty sure my favorite part about the game is not being able to skip cutscenes.
Re: Mass Effect the Third
oh, and these guys...

Re: Mass Effect the Third
What about them?
And maybe you should be playing on Action Mode if you don't like the cut scenes...

Re: Mass Effect the Third
And another bug found, this time gamebreaking. Can't progress any more as it crashes the game at a certain point in Sanctuary. Looks like others are having issues with it too. Make sure you do a manual save before you start this section.

This makes me leery of multiplayer. Still haven't tried it...Memphis wrote:more banning fail

Or maybe they could make it so you don't have to sit through another 45 minutes of cutscenes just to try out a different character class. retard.xer0s wrote:What about them?

Vanguard is interesting, definitely more difficult than soldier. I had to take it off hardcore. Biotic Charge into insta-death.feedback wrote:I can't wait to vanguard again in ME3. Having played the other classes, I'd have to say it's by far the most fun and "kinetic".
