Oh look, every first person shooter cliché of the past 5 years stacked on top of each other. Grrrrrreat.

Ok, I'll bite: Battlefield 2142.

But that's not the point. All I see is in this trailer are clichés. The fact that a single mechanized walker vehicle makes an appearance in the trailer doesn't suddenly make it original.

I mean, class-based. What about it? What does it add to the game? One player holds a medkit while the other holds a claymore mine? Pfff, give me a break. Been there, done that, choked on it.

BF2142 was the only Battlefield game worth playing.

Anyone played this yet? Reviews are strong; not sure if they are powered by Doritos, though.

Ha!

I was gonna make a thread with the Warfighter name, but I thought I would try this one first just on the off chance it doesn't get filled with forum offal.

Apparently? Did you play it and is your verdict that it stank?

I have a choice to make between this and Dishonoured due to a voucher being thrown my way but I need to spend it by Sunday.... :toothy:

I just thought as earlier in the thread you had signed up for the beta then you had played it, hence my confusion about you using apparently!

Not sure if I want mindless on rails goodness or Dishonoured...Dishonoured takes time with levelling up etc, which I'm not sure I'm willing to invest...

Will I get enjoyment out of Dishonoured if I don't have the time to put into it? How important is levelling up etc?

the best bits in Dishonored are where you come to a locked door, and have to take a detour to find the key

innovative game design ftw
