Are you using Chrome? If so, try going to "chrome://plugins/" in a new tab and see how many Shockwave Flash entries you have. If there are more than one, try disabling the older one [or either one if they are the same version]. Reload the browser and try again.

No, firefox, fully updated.
But now it seems I can switch youtube quality settings again, without crashes. Like they fixed it.
Ah well, a non-issue I suppose.

Lots of people only shut down their computer because they physically need the computer. Like changing hardware or moving it.

Even if this isnt a daily activity, it only needs to happen once at the wrong time for it to be a huge annoyance.
