BTW, though, just to warn you, there's a good reason why traditionally you don't spread the word on this sort of thing in the first trimester.

well, from what i understand, or have been told is i'll go away for 5 months of training. have time off until the child is born and then i will be sent to whereever. hopefully kept in canada. if i am then we already plan for her to move on base with me for the first few years anyways
didn't read that your ambitions for the next few years as as high as military service...i don't know how canada works, but in the US the costs of delivering the child are astronomic. i'm sure your military paycheck will be sufficient to pay for all the costs of a child for the next 3 years, plus your gf...and yourself. congrats nonetheless
