That one I posted is the small version, you can click the ones on that page to open them in full size. Not sure if you noticed that. Yeah, they're still not 1080p screencaptures. I just posted that one to show the colour difference.
I didnt think they would do this. I had read somewhere long ago that TNG, DS9 and VOY were shot straight to video to cut costs and there was no HD film to remaster. Turns out all the live action was shot on film, and all the VFX was done on tape. Thats quite a lot of $$ put into an old series to redo all the VFX shots. Hopefully it sells well and the other series get the same treatment.
I don't like when they go in and change the colour or something of an original effect.
Other than that, it's good news
Thanks DTS. T'is good news.
You've probably guessed I am a SF fan so I am looking forward to watching them all again in quality.
I am certain the fans will love the effort and a whole new generation might appreciate the genre.
I was looking for a present for myself (just now) and thinking ST Enterprise in blu ray?

They found out that nerds have lots of spare cash.

Really have to hand it to the team there. So many BluRays are just wasted chances worth nothing, just a simple upscale+noise filter...
But this is really something else. The entire thing looks so crisp, so much attention to detail. Might actually pick this up, but I bet it will be mega expensive for the full set.
