Those comments on the main image make my head hurt. Atheism is strictly the absence of belief in a god. It's nothing more than a label. Like calling people who don't believe in Santa Claus, Aclausists.

The content of the image is addressing scientific models (which are not believed, they are confirmed with varying levels of mathematical and empirical accuracy). Despite the monumental lack of knowledge the person who made the image had, the models addressed in this image are actually very well defined and have held up to experimentation. They continue to improve every day as our understanding does.

That is why we mock your beliefs. We adjust our understanding of the physical world by constantly learning and challenging what we know. Faith means ignoring empirical evidence and proclaiming "God dun it". Also cognitive dissonance. Lots and lots of cognitive dissonance.
