The Amazing Spider-Man 3D

Looks alright, action looks mediocre, probably dependant on 3D to look good.

I like how they've made it truer to the original (I only know from cartoons, not comics, beyond the odd one-page short I read).

The dialogue seems nothing special.

Idk much about Spiderman (the franchise), but isn't the girl supposed to be hot? Not that I care, just that stood out for me as something that they might not have been true to the original with. I want things to stick to the original whatever they are based on, unless they improve on it in some way. Is making the girl not hot an improvement? :offended: I suppose it makes her less a distraction from the story? Spiderman stories are not love stories after all, are they? They aren't quite like Superman and Lewis Lane.

The 2002 movie was more accurate than this one seems to be. It looks like this one will suck in comparison, too.

Also, fuck 3D.

I got the name wrong? Shows how much I watch Superman. Lemme check Imdb...
"Lois Lane"
O.K. so the name sounds the same but is spelt differently. So I know the films and TV series, not the comic. Big deal...

In the era of silent films, you'd be one of those saying "fuck talkies. Who wants to hear actors speak?"

Edit: How is the 2002 film more accurate? What stood out for me was the web shooters being an invention and the green goblin being a new creature rather than a mask and armour.

So much stupid in this post :(

3D is being widely criticised, is laughed at by a large segment of the post-production community, and will probably stop being the main focus of "Blockbusters" in the next couple of years. It has already stopped attracting attention at trade shows. It's a gimmick that manufacturers and their pet film-makers try to foist onto an unwilling public every 15 years or so.

And that's not the Green Goblin. That's Doctor Curt Connors, aka Lizard.

It's not Mary Jane in this one either; it's Gwen Stacey. Which probably means she gonna die.

Yeah, Clark's secret gay lover. Come on, you didn't expect a grown man running around in spandex tights most of the time was gay?
