Re: Bulletstorm
please try the demo first.
it was beyond repetitive, imo. not in a good way

Re: Bulletstorm
I played the PS3 demo and it was quite fun. It will get old very, very fast though, which may not be a problem actually since the campaign is supposed to last about 6 hours.
Oh and it's a console game. Theres no jump button and you have to "press x" to leap over obstacles. I imagine it's gonna get absolutely slated by the PC gamers, heh.
Epic don't care about PC people

Re: Bulletstorm
I've never understood the lack of a jump button in favor of an context based leap over function. Is there a rationale for this decision or is it just bad design?

I took your advice and I am glad I did sir - It is a £20 purchase, not a £40 purchaseMKJ wrote:please try the demo first.

Re: Bulletstorm
Finally picked this up oday on the 360 for a very reasonable 97p, brand new. Gotta be worth 97p?
Re: Bulletstorm
97p and god knows how much of your valuable time.
I heard it's an enjoyable distraction though. Don't expect too much of it and you'll be ok.

Re: Bulletstorm
In the end, I actually quite liked this game. It was pretty mindless and frantic, but in a good way. The combo system was a lot of fun and the game finished just as I started to get the first inklings of repetition. For 97p, it's a no-brainer.
Re: Bulletstorm
Yes, i got it at a 3 for 2 deal some months ago, and its actually not too bad. The profanities are so extreme it makes fun of itself ("wha..? Youll kill my dick? What does that even mean?"), and the gameplay is a lot more varied than the demo leads you to believe.
Would play again

I never finished it off to be honest. Too much Steve Blum. That guy's EVERYWHERE these days.

Re: Bulletstorm
It is just a laugh - so much random swearing that makes little to no sense but is amusing to say the least. Also the randomness of some of the moves you need to complete to unlock things
"Kill a guy by shooting him in the ass" etc
Childish and crude but wonderfully entertaining
Well worth 97p
