Select your brushwork and go to the menu and select Plugins>brushexport2>Export selected as Wavefront Object

Note: This will only work with brushwork. Patches will not be exported.

Are you sure you are using GtkRadiant 1.5? It shows up in the menu and works fine for me. Otherwise Q3Map2 can create an .ase file using the -convert switch.

Yep, I click "Plugins" and nothing shows up. I'm using 1.5. Here is a picture.

It looks like you are running Windows Vista, so this is almost certainly the solution to your missing menus:

It most probably got nothing to do with that crap vista, it looks like ElectricBrony has installed a certain GTK Radiant 1.5.0 floating around on the net that lacks a lot of functions (not only in the interface and menues but overall), I know, because I've had the same version once and still have it installed on one HDD. ElectricBrony, be sure to download the "full" version of 1.5.0 using the link obsidian posted above, and the issue should be solved.

Well, no. In his screenshot, he clearly didn't disable Windows Aero's "desktop composition", you can see it by the way his title bar looks in the screenshot. It's a known issue with the GTK+ toolkit not behaving well with Windows Aero, it causes various problems in Radiant, one of them has to do with missing menus.

Now I'm interested: What was the problem: Aero, a previously flawed GTKRadiant installment or both? ;) I've had the missing menu issue back with WinXP, where the desktop composition had no influence at all, that's why I'm asking, just curious.

It was a messed up install. Vista would normally default to the basic scheme when a program isn't compatible.
