That should work (the former). It's what I did with Amazon digital purchase.

Ooh, Wake Island looks a lot like Iwo Jima from 1942.

edit: Derp, I mean it looks like the same map. :dork:

I don't know what you're talking about. Dr. Claw hacked my account and posted both those messages, not me.

pretty sure.. LAV and Tungusta. Look for the smaller than normal tank icons on the minimap.

..so after pre-ordering this months ago, finally had a go on it over the weekend. there are a lot of things i don't like about it (e.g. the minimap, gear and squad management and all the other UI lessons that have somehow been forgotten since CB2), but the main impression is that it's fucking awesome.

Hello my battlefieldery amigo's! I am very sad to report that over the last few days i have experienced serious & unexpected Steam troubles. Basically i did a windows upgrade to fix a minor inconvenience (SP1 wouldn’t install, each time giving me new exotic error messages) and while it appears to have fixed that problem, ever since my beloved Steam does not accept my password anymore. I had it changed immediately because as you understand i feel unmanly and naked without Steam, but to my astonishment it still refuses my new password. Can’t figure out why that is, but it is so.

I’m considering formatting C: and simply reinstall everything as a desperate last measure, will try if the metric fuckton of windows updates it suddenly wanted to download this morning have been installed and things are still not as they should be tonight. Also, i will need to rescue all my files before i do that, which will take a good evening of messing about. But before i do that I would very much like to shoot a lot of stuff to release my furious anger and immense frustration at this issue.

tl;dr, i cannot communicate with any of you gits due to not having Steam – but the good news is that i can play Battlefield, hit me up for a game through Origin plz!

Already tried that, unfortunately it caused Steam to give an error message and it then refused to start up entirely :/

Mysterious isn't it? Will try to uninstall and reinstall steam before i format, but i really suspect it's a some kind of weird Windows thing that's causing all this. The upgrade i did somehow saved all my files and documents, but it appears to have erased some programs, dispite promising me that it wouldn't. Had to reinstall Origin and Battlefield and AVG and even Winrar for instance... there's probably more that's gone but i haven't had a lot of time to mess with it yet, just an hour here and there.

I don't know wtf has gone wrong, but i do know that i shall never try the upgrade function again - next time i'll just do a complete format and be done with it :(

Fuck no why the hell would I do that?

(it's a cracked version so I think they took it out but I thought another person who illegally pirated the game could give me a heads up)
