I have loads of DVD that would like to rip to avi's
for ease of access. How do you go about this?
I'm trying super dvd ripper atm, but would you
recommend anything else?

I say again: this topic comes up so often it should be stickied:

Uses Virtual Dub and a bunch of other shit. Takes ages to turn DVD into AVI but if you've got a massive fuck-off HDD you could just create ISOs with DVDShrink and play them on a virtual drive.

what i've been waiting for is a multi-terabyte drive where i can store hundreds and thousands of dvd images. :)

Where do you get your cds from btw? A friend is lending me 15 disks I need to backup and i'm running low :E.

Nero says my DVD burner supports burning labels on the disc.

Don't mean to hijack, but you know where I can get software to write labels with the laser? :paranoid:

No hardware outside your drive, but it has to be lightscribe-capable media, aka has some special top so you don't fuck the data up i assume.
